Chiranjeevi visits maternal village near mogaltur
Chiranjeevi hopped onto a country boat and tried his hand at fishing by casting a net in a pond after reached L.B. Charla, a hamlet close to his ancestral maternal village of Mogaltur.
On his arrival in Mogaltur, Mr. Chiranjeevi turned nostalgic. The mega star stepped into the house of his maternal grandparents who had sold it off a long time ago. The unexpected visit by the film star took the occupants of the house by complete surprise. He spent some time in the tiled house where he was born and played as a child, relishing the memories of his childhood.
On the Perubalem beach, he turned out to be a sea reveller by getting lost in the cool breeze for a moment. Later, he sipped a cup of tea in a stall on the beachfront and gave the owner a tip of Rs. 500.
The PR leader played a volunteer by distributing rice to over 700 families in Badava village. He went round the flood-hit areas in Narsapur, Mogalturu and Yalamanchili mandals. He criticised MPs from the State for their alleged failure to draw “our due share of funds under the Calamity Relief Fund from the Centre”.
